UPS & SERVER ROOMS

We have successfully supplied and installed bespoke UPS & Server Rooms for a number of clients on a worldwide basis. Two of these rooms were installed for a large Banking and Credit Card company at locations in St Petersburg and Moscow in Russia.

DISASTER RECOVERY FACILITIES

We have recently completed the new Disaster Recovery facility for Hewlett Packard in Rugby. This sophisticated facility included the provision of a new Data Hall, Plant Rooms and storage areas, and is one of many such projects undertaken by our company.

TELECOM SWITCH ROOMS

We have successfully supplied and installed Telecom Switch Rooms for a number of clients on a worldwide basis.

We were involved in the European Roll Out for Cable & Wireless through Nortel Networks and delivered fast track projects in both Berlin & Marseilles.

DOORS

We have the capacity to supply and install a multitude of bespoke door types covering all aspects of insulated construction.

In the Data Hall and Clean Room Environments we can provide the following door types:

These doors can be fully fire rated for up to four hours and be finished in any RAL colour of choice.

FIRE WALLS & COMPARTMENTATION

We have successfully supplied and installed Firewalls for a number of clients on a worldwide basis.

Fire performance should be judged on both fire resistance and reaction to fire. The products we select will have been tested /assessed to BS476 Part 22 for fire resistance, and also, should it be required, to the independently approved test for reaction to fire by the Loss Prevention Council to LPS1181 and LPS1208, and to Factory Mutual Standard 4880.

The installation of firewalls and the forming of manageable areas by Compartmentation is an extremely intricate and specialist area of construction requiring an in depth knowledge of this type of installation.

Working closely and co-operating fully with Fire Officers, Local Authorities & Building Control, we now have the broad understanding and experience to implement the stringent regulations surrounding this type of installation.

We have undertaken numerous projects for a number of clients who include major retail chains and distribution companies as well as sectors of the Food and Data Hall construction industries.

With enhancements these walls can be offered with a security rating to LPS1175 Issue 6

FIRE RATED CEILINGS WITH WALK ON CAPABILITY

We have successfully supplied and installed Fire Rated “Fully Walk on Ceilings” for a number of clients on a worldwide basis.

Fire performance should be judged on both fire resistance and reaction to fire. The products we select will have been tested/assessed to BS476 Part 22 for fire resistance, and also, should it be required, to the independently approved test for reaction to fire by the Loss Prevention Council to LPS1181 and LPS1208, and to Factory Mutual Standard 4880.

The installation of fire rated walk on ceilings is an extremely intricate and specialist area of construction requiring an in depth knowledge of this type of installation.

Working closely and co-operating fully with Fire Officers, Local Authorities & Building Control, we now have the broad understanding and experience to implement the stringent regulations surrounding this type of installation.

Walk on ceilings are an integral part of the Global Insulation Data Hall Solution and affords us the capacity to offer our “Total Fire Rated Enclosures”, particularly required in the Food and Data Hall Construction industries.

These ceilings are fully tested to BS6933 for walk on access, are fully fire rated, and enhanced may be offered with security rating to LPS1175 Issue 6.

Global Insulation Logistics has also supplied and installed UPS and server rooms within the AMEX facilities in Moscow and St Petersburg; we have constructed soft drink facilities supplying Saudi Arabia and the Arab Nations, in Cyprus, and carried out refurbishments to catering facilities in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Such was our success in East Asia and the Pacific Rim, that we now have full time representation in both Hong Kong and Manila.
